My inspiration for the half-moon mani is from the Vena Cava Spring 2011 show.

How-To: Place a 1/2 inch piece of tape just above the white part of your nail bed, then on the moon (the white) part of your nail add two coats of black polish. Do this to one hand first just polishing the moon with black polish, wait til completely dry to remove tape from all nails and continue.
(note: to achieve runway effect, nails should be round, but I just prefer them square).
Apply two coats of the grey to the high-arched tip of nail.
Finish with a shiny top coat.
