Last week Chanel hosted an event, the 6th Annual Tribeca Film Festival Artist Dinner at The Odeon, in New York. The event honored the artists who contributed their work to the filmmakers in this year’s festival.
Normally your frantic because you do not want to show up to an event dressing exactly like someone else. Now what happens when you know others will be wearing that designer to the event… Pray you get there first and look more fantastic in it. Or in this case have the Chanel reps swear on Chanel they haven’t loaned what you picked to someone else — “I said, swear damnit!”
There were no Chanel twin sightings on this night, but yet still ample amount of Chanel.
Rose Byrne
Rose Byrne wore a Chanel evening dress in silk tulle with fantasy embroidery. The hemline is also angled which you can’t catch from the runway shot. She finished the look with closed black pumps. The shoes should have been different for this dress, it looks off which ruined it for me.
Zoe Kravitz
Lenny’s daughter, Zoe Kravitz shows she has inherited her dad’s rocker style! Zoe’s wearing a Chanel black and ecru mesh blouse with feather trim and a Chanel classic flap bag in red. Now you know she could have absolutely raided dads closet for some funky leather/jean pants it’s Lenny Kravitz there is gonna be some fun eccentric piece in there.
Naomi Watts
Naomi is wearing a custom Chanel sheath dress with delicate small circle appliqué. The dress was paired with her favorite pair of shoes, Stella Mccartney yellow satin sandals. We all play favorites with our shoes and these seem to be hers since she’s pictured with them A…lot.
Julia Restoin-Roitfeld
Model Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and daughter of the former-Vogue Paris editor arrived to the Artist dinner in a archived black Chanel two-piece number. Do you think Julia went to the wrong archive and landed in Dynasty era? If she was going for Alexis Carrington then she nailed it.
