Next to probably the Met Ball the Cannes Film Festival is the most star studded glamorous event that I always look forward too. The first Festival de Cannes opened on September 20, 1946 at the resort city of Cannes on the French Riviera. Now in it’s 64th year what started as a way to lure tourists back to the French Riviera, now attracts more than 30,000 people each year.
